Rancho Cordova is Sacramento County’s largest employment sub-center, having more than 50,000 workers come to the city. Rancho Cordova students are served by four school districts, with the majority of schools in the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District and has three high schools: Cordova High School, Walnutwood High School, and Kinney High School. Two elementary schools and one high school in the Sacramento Unified School District serve students in the western portion of Rancho Cordova, and students in the recently developed Anatolia area are served by Elk Grove Unified School District.
