“By helping my clients define their needs, I am better prepared to find it for them.”
“I always put the needs of my clients first,” she says. “There is no better feeling than helping my clients find the home of their dreams or helping them sell their house and move on to the next chapter of their lives.”
For Denise, her commitment starts with listening. “You can’t help your clients achieve their goals until you know what their goals are,” she says. By starting with one basic question, Denise helps her clients determine exactly what it is they’re looking for and what they need from her. “I always ask, ‘where do you want to be in five years, in ten years?’ By helping them clearly define their needs, I am better prepared to find it for them.”
She’s also dedicated to her local community and the industry she loves. She volunteers in multiple local organizations. Because of her dedication to volunteerism she earned the 2006 Community Service Award and was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013.
“I love helping my friends and neighbors. I’m not a salesperson, I’m an advocate and that makes me different.” Denise strives to be your real estate advocate for life.
On a soccer field in Germany, in the final game of the 2001 European Cup Tournament, Denise Aquila gathered 18 young women around her for a powerful pep talk. Just a week before, none of these “Liberty Ladies” teammates knew one another. Nor had they met their diminutive coach, who’d been commissioned by the U.S. government to handpick an American team that would “show well” in rivalry with squads from throughout Europe. “Did you come all this way not to win?” asked their energized leader. “Do you want to go home with excuses, or can you turn the game around so you’ll go home with results, as champions?”
Bringing Home The Cup
Her queries reflected a mindset that had propelled her to success in business as well as her personal life, to reach such goals as a college scholarship that helped her earn degrees in recreational leadership and business administration. Her winning attitude was a force when she organized a soccer program for all ages in her community that both her son and her daughter participated in since age five. It resonated in the decisions of seven high school varsity players to compete in college soccer after being coached by Denise in high school. Two of these accomplished athletes – including her own daughter, now coach soccer themselves.
To this day, when this businesswoman isn’t working with clients, she applies her focus and competitive spirit on two women’s soccer teams and to coaching a local girls soccer team. She gives back to the sport she loves through volunteer work for both the Men’s and Women’s World Cup programs. For more than 20 years, she’s provided leadership as a board member for the local American Youth Soccer Organization.
Results In Action

In quieter moments, she could be relaxing with a counted cross-stitch project – anything that yields a result – or reviewing soccer game film her husband, John, has videotaped.
On The Ball
The competitive drive that gives Denise an edge in sports also provides an exceptional advantage in the real estate field. With the same drive and determination she brings to her soccer success, she helps homebuyers and sellers reach their unique goals.
